The Idea
During the COVID-19 pandemic the elderly and disabled need a lot of assistance with their shopping, errands and everyday life. UNDP tasked us to develop this website and mobile app to help them reach to young volunteers.
The Technical Challenge
They provided their own website and mobile app design, and our job was to implement it in a short period of time. The website needed to be mobile-first, since most of the users are using their smartphones to browse. The website also needed to support multiple languages.
The Solution
We used modern technologies to build Pomagame's website and mobile app, like Bootstrap for the front-end, Docker for the DevOps, and Xamarin Forms for the mobile app. We utilized GitLab's CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy the website automatically.
